Cleansing Foods for Winter
Certain foods have a "cleansing" effect on different organs in the body. Green beans, for example, are highly nutritious and are a great source of fibre, which helps clean out the colon. Beetroot has blood-cleansing abilities and is full of antioxidants, Vitamin C, betacarotene and carotenoids, which help to rejuvenate the liver.
